More sustainability in Tampere

As far as I am aware of, Sustainable Tampere is the only site presenting all the initiatives related to sustainability in the city and the region.

Many things are happening, more and more if we compare to a few years ago and it’s great.

Sustainable Tampere’s site has a calendar listing all localevents I am aware of in English and Finnish.

I share regularly on the FB group page, here a bit and on my Linkedin.

Don’t hesitate to share your events with me, it’s a pleasure to support you a little bit.

Sustainable Tampere has been volunteer work for me since its creation in 2019. In 2021, I received a small support from Tampere Kauppunki for the Eco-Impact events in English, and from Pirkanmaa Liito to conduct interviews with Change Agents in English.

I warmly invite you to explore the website. All the organizers of all these events are making huge efforts to raise awareness about sustainability, make people connect with others and inspire you. Please, share the events in your network, try to engage a bit as it is important for all the organizers obviously and let’s make sustainability more and more real everywhere ❤

And hopefully, with our efforts combined, Finland will somehow progressively take distance from the American way of life in order to adapt more safely to future crisis.
